A headache that involves the area around the temples, and the chewing muscles may be caused by a tooth grinding habit. A headache can also be caused by problems in the jaw joints. If the pain is sharp, severe, and involves the face, you may be experiencing neuralgia. Pain from the area of the sinuses may be caused by sinus inflammation or sinus infections.
